Palestine: A Solidarity Algeria Will Not Negotiate Away

"With Palestine, whether oppressed or free": the formula, inherited from the Revolution, was never a mere slogan. It reflects a constant position of the state — from the refusal of any forced normalisation to uninterrupted diplomatic support in international forums.

This solidarity is also expressed through society: fundraisers, scholarships for Palestinian students, the provision of medical care. It links Algeria to all peoples fighting for their dignity — from Western Sahara to the forgotten causes of the South.

For an independent media outlet, defending Palestine means refusing the double standard that splits international law in two. It also means recalling that the memory of colonisation imposes a duty: never to stand on the side of oppression.
