The thesis

Western Sahara is not a "narrative", nor an "apprehension", nor a "deadlock". It is a non-self-governing territory, a Sahrawi people, and a right to self-determination recognized by the International Court of Justice in 1975. For half a century, Moroccan media have circled around this right without ever naming it — out of fear of the answer. Here is the complete dossier, arranged from newest to oldest.

The conclusion

Thirty-three chapters, a single confession. The "narrative" is the confession that the law has been lost. The "apprehension" is the fear projected onto others. The "deadlock" is the celebrated postponement. The veto is the dead Moroccan resolution. The slap is the double failure in disguise. The masquerade is the client crying victory while the sponsor cries vengeance. And behind all of it, a single question, never asked: what do the Sahrawis want? As long as it is refused, the dossiers will pile up — and the law, for its part, will not wait.
